Charlotte Hughes is a romance and comedy author who has published over 30 critically acclaimed books. She is a southern writer, and lives in antebellum Beaufort, S.C. with her two frisky dachshunds, whom she lovingly refers to as "dumb" and dumber."
Charlotte began her career with novels for Bantam Loveswept. More recently she has been writing a new genre for her- the romance suspense books- the results of which brought her two Maggies and had a third book nominated as a finalist for the Maggie. She now is under contract with upcoming novels for both MIRA books and Silhouette Desire, both of which will be available soon online and in your local bookstore.

For more about this hot novel, click here Also in September, Charlotte is teaming with Janet Evanovich for a new line of novels at St. Martin's Press. The first is entitled Full House and is available in September 2002. full House was orignally a novel written by janet, but made bigger and better by Charlotte.

Charlotte lives in Beaufort, S.C. with her two dachshunds, whom she lovingly calls dumb and dumber. She eagerly responds to all fan mail. On a recent trip to Jamaica, Charlotte saw a cow walking dow3n the street unleashed. She plans a starring role for that cow in the movie version of her novel HOT SHOT.
